Madeleines are are cute, little sponge cakes with a distinctive shell-like shape acquired from being baked in pans with shell-shaped depressions. They are amazing but we took ours up a few notches (of course 😏)
Our version is flavoured with real dried lavender and honey and covered in a white chocolate and hibiscus glaze.
